Women’s Rankings Power Shift, Top 5 Talk Has New Contenders - Corona Cero Post Show Day 3

A short but heavily-implicated day of competition determined the women’s Semifinalists with scattered upheavals and brilliant showings. The yellow Leader’s jersey now rests in the hands of Caitlin Simmers once more after Bettylou Sakura Johnson dealt World No. 1 Brisa Hennessy a hefty blow in their Quarterfinal clash. Simmers’ win over Tatiana Weston-Webb put her back atop the rankings before a dynamic performance from Gabriela Bryan went excellent and eliminated World No. 3 Molly Picklum. Now, the women’s Semifinals await with Bryan looking to enter the Final 5 conversation alongside Caroline Marks, who took down current No. 4 Johanne Defay.
