Surfline Forecast Update: More swell inbound to reignite Lexus Trestles Pro All eyes are on the Southern Hemisphere and waiting to see it churn for more swell to deliver at the Lexus Trestles Pro. Starting Wednesday, September 16, slowly building 3-4’+ faces trend to 4-5’ faces through the afternoon, showing signs of a new long period SSW. Then, Thursday, September 17, that swell fills in more to deliver 4-5', occasional 6' faces that could provide a dreamy day at Lowers as the SSW blends with a S swell. In 2015, Lower Trestles was the place to be with classic summer conditions providing the magic, and Carissa Moore rose through the ranks atop the podium. Round 1 witnessed pumping swell and offshore winds to gift the world's best with a high-performance platform for the ages. A then 2x World Champion Carissa Moore was in the hunt for her third, battling with No. 1 Courtney Conlogue, and began her campaign with a 9.43. Moore's dominant run in 2015 earned her 10 excellent rides from start to finish, culminating in a Final clash with Bianca Buitendag. Despite the higher tide, Moore made easy work of the Final and earned a claimed her reign over the cobblestones.
