Mick Fanning made his much-anticipated return to Bells Beach, an Australian rookie powered his way all the way to the Final, and the women’s event-deciding heat was a battle between former World Champions at the top of their game. In the end, two first-time Bells winners got to ring the iconic trophy, and the CT left Victoria with two new athletes wearing the yellow leader jersey.
