The Corona Saquarema Pro got underway with a handful of Challenger Series surfers looking to solidify their spots on the CT in Saquarema, plus the 3x World Champ made his return to competitive surfing. Watch the whole recap of a wild day of action here with Kaipo, Mitch, and the crew! In Saquarema, the top Challenger Series surfers will face off against the very stars they’re trying to join. They’ll shoot to upset Gabriel Medina, Miguel Pupo, and Jadson Andre and seize their spot alongside them on the Championship Tour. Only two events remain in the battle for Championship Tour qualification. With three surfers already locking up their place on the 2023 tour, seven men's and five women’s spots are still up for grabs when the best up-and-coming surfers head to Brazil.
