Western Australia’s best up-and-coming surfers took to the waves alongside Championship Tour competitors like Stephanie Gilmore, Bettylou Sakura Johnson, and Sophie McCulloch at Margaret River’s Rising Tides event. In front of their surfing heroes, the young athletes shined in heavy conditions and helped continue to build the competitive pathway to the tour. The Mid-season Cut is here and Margaret River is a battle for survival. The full Championship Tour enters, but only the top 22 men and 10 women advance.
