World Champions Inspire Young Surfers at Bells Beach Rising Tides

Ahead of the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach presented by Bonsoy, Rising Tides brought together young aspiring surfers with a group of iconic World Champions including Pauline Menczer, Pam Burridge, and Carissa Moore. The girls paddled out and surfed alongside their heroes, providing a first-hand look at what it takes to be a professional surfer and inspiration for all involved. Bells Beach means Australian surfing heritage. As one of the sport’s longest-running events, it’s an old-school test of power and rail-to-rail surfing for today’s progressive athletes. The deep history, combined with the pressure of the fast-approaching Mid-season Cut, makes getting a win and ringing “The Bell” one of the great honors in the sport.
