Post Show Day 3 | Ballito Pro Presented by O'Neill

Ballito delivered an action-packed day filled with high-scoring combos to bring the intensity in heat bouts. Day 3 highlighted Joel Vaughan’s near-perfect rotation that reeled in a 9.83, clocking in a heat total of 17.33. A crack of a heat between Dylan Moffat and Cole Houshmand provided absolute fireworks as the two went blow-for-blow, both advancing onto the Round of 32. On the Women’s side, Sally Fitzgibbon’s set the bar by securing the first Round of 16 appearance, while Vahine Fierro, Isabella Nichols, and Durban, South Africa's own Sarah Baum all secured appearances of their own with electric performances. The Challenger Series moves to South Africa for its third event of the season. At one of the country’s premier breaks, Ballito is a battle between young surfers fighting for the dream of making the Championship Tour and former CT competitors driven to requalify.
